Linx Printing Technologies has hired Elried Markierungssysteme to distribute its IJ355 and IJ375 case coders in Germany.
The coders replace labels with printed boxes and the launch will be supported by a marketing campaign including advertising, social media and exhibitions.
Mike Utley, divisional business manager EMEA/APAC, Linx, said Elried has over 50 years’ experience in the German coding industry. It will feature the case coders on its website homepage and staff will undertake a training programme to integrate the products into its sales and services division.
“The arrival of the Linx IJ355 and IJ375 fills an important gap in its portfolio and will play a key role in enabling the company to continue to develop and expand its coding and marking business,” said Bernd Riedmaier, MD, Elried.
Linx, which is based in the UK, supplies continuous ink jet (CIJ) printers, case coders, laser coders, thermal transfer printers and thermal inkjet printers. It is used by companies that need identification codes, batch numbers, dates and barcodes on products such as bottles, packages and cans.
“We are excited to be working with an experienced partner who will help to strengthen our presence in the German market,” added Utley.
