ABB opens robotics hub to drive productivity in Southeast Asia
ABB has opened a Regional Robotics Packaging Application Hub in Singapore.
The 600m² workshop features demo units for picking, packing and palletizing processes and will let end customers, channel partners and ABB run trials with products, assemble robotics systems and conduct factory acceptance tests before delivery.
“We look forward to sharing our know-how and helping companies to become even more cost competitive,” said Haider Rashid, head of ABB, Singapore and the South Asia region.
“We are excited about making a difference to industries in the region.”
The hub is an extension of ABB’s Robotics Application Center, set up in 2010.
