Nestlé and Heinz to speak at AMI’s BOPP 2015 conference

Constantia Flexibles, Nestlé, Heinz and Cosmo Films will talk about the latest developments in raw materials and film technology for BOPP film manufacturers at the AMI BOPP conference from June 23-25 in Berlin, Germany.

The event will open with a market overview on the outlook for raw material supply to the BOPP industry, and a keynote presentation about building a global business in specialty BOPP films by Cosmo Films.

The programme includes a session on resin developments with papers from Braskem, Ineos Olefins & Polymers Europe and Exxonmobil Chemical Europe.

Other guests include Constantia Flexibles, which will talk about the topic from a converter’s perspective, Gabriela Leszczyk, packaging safety expert, Nestlé, France, on Nestlé’s packaging safety and compliance approach and Marcel Keuenhof, packaging technologist, waste reduction, H.J. Heinz, the Netherlands, on flexible packaging trends by Heinz.

The business forum will include presentations from Biaxplen in Russia about accumulating R&D competence within the supply chain, Manucor on a strategy framework for BOPP companies and Ernst & Young about the global economic M&A trends.

The conference will close with a joint presentation from AMI BOPP expert Carole Kluth.
