Koen Verstraete, general manager, Verstraete IML, told FoodProductionDaily, the company is growing fast globally and is investing in its people, machines, technology and infrastructure.

In the past year, it has expanded from 400 to 550 employees.

The new construction is perfectly on schedule and hand-over of the building is expected towards the end of November 2015,” he said.

In December and January, we are planning to move the machines, furnish the offices and move in. So at the beginning of 2016, you will already find our colleagues in the new facility.

Upstairs, our employees will get the space to develop fully: in the new offices, meeting rooms and multi-purpose room. Verstraete IML wants to inspire and encourage its employees with a pleasant working environment and the right tools.”
