Anchor Packaging has launched a line of containers with reduced petroleum-based materials.

Branded the WAVE series, the containers are available in 16, 24, and 32 ounce sizes. They join other products under the MicroRaves trademark.

Containers are made with a natural mineral additive, reducing petroleum based resin by 40% and RPET flat and dome lids are made with FDA approved post-consumer recycled content.

The WAVE series 9” x 6” containers have smooth sides and a spoon-able inside surface and shiny black outside.

Three leak-resistant lids will fit each of the WAVE polypropylene bases. PP and RPET dome lids have wide, rib-free panels to provide an unobstructed view of the food contents.

The flat RPET lid also has a smooth surface and is for portion control and low profile items.

A vented, polypropylene dome lid includes Clear Guard anti-fog technology to prevent condensation, maximizing hot-case merchandising opportunities for retailers.

Three bases and the polypropylene lid will withstand temperatures to 230°F in warming units, under heat lamps, or in the microwave.
