Natural food and beverage firm Hain Celestial has revamped the packaging for its Dream line of non-dairy beverages.

Dream, the line of non-dairy beverages produced by Hain Celestial, has updated packaging on its shelf-stable nut and rice milks. The redesign, executed by The Biondo Group, is designed to boost the shelf appeal for the beverages and give the line a consistent look; it also is changing the closure to a screw cap that reportedly is easier to open.

Shelf presence

Donna Iannucci, vice president in marketing for Hain Celestial US, told FoodProductionDaily the redesigned packaging gives the Dream beverage line visual unity, as well as stand-out shelf appeal.

The packaging refresh allows the quality and many varieties of Dream center stage,” she said. “It gives each non-dairy beverage a consistent, easily identifiable look."

Tetra Pak cartons

The refreshed packaging (housed in Tetra Pak cartons) coincides with the launch of two beverage lines under the Dream umbrella: Sprouted Rice Dream, and Cashew Dream. The shelf-stable Rice Dream, Soy Dream, Almond Dream, and Coconut Dream, and the refrigerated Rice Dream drinks, also will get the updated cartons.

In addition to the carton and closure redesign, the Dream line recently attained Non-GMO Project verification across the product family. The redesign will include front-of-pack messaging indicating the certification.

Hain Celestial reportedly also plans to revamp its Dream Blend carton packaging. This line includes Almond, Cashew and Hazelnut; Coconut, Almond and Chia, and Rice and Quinoa non-dairy beverages.
