
Nordson Corporation has completed the acquisition of Xaloy Superior Holdings a week after the deal for EDI (Extrusion Dies Industries) was approved.
Pennsylvania-based Xaloy manufacture melt delivery components for injection and extrusion machinery and will operate in Nordson’s adhesive dispensing systems segment.
The agreement to acquire Xaloy for US$200m (€161m) was made in June.
Xaloy has operations in the US, Germany and Thailand and product lines include bi-metallic barrels, engineered screws, melt pumps, heat transfer rolls, valves and nozzles, jet cleaners and pelletizers.
Ohio-based Nordson will hold a live webcast of its conference call discussing the acquisition at 8:30am ET on Tuesday 26 June.
