Schneider Packaging Equipment has created a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to ensure quicker diagnostic and troubleshooting options for its customers.
The VPN enables users to contact the firm's service support team over a secure connection, eliminating the possibility of security breaches or network crashes, said the US-based company.
The system allows for faster solutions to technical problems and system adjustments, improved operating efficiency, and the ability to change/back up/or store programs, new recipes and updates quicker.
Once work is completed, the customer disconnects from the network and the machine can resume operations.
