Repsol launches polypropylene copolymers for food packaging

Repsol Chemicals has introduced polypropylene grades for food packaging due to the stringent demands of a constantly evolving market.

The range, including Repsol Isplen grades PR590C2M, PR595C2M and PR599C2M, completes the range of highly transparent polypropylene.

The firm said the polyolefins cover and match the specific needs of food containers and packaging, offering customers an end product displaying excellent finish in terms of colour and transparency and organoleptic properties to preserve the sensory qualities of the packaged product.

In its chemical division, Repsol manufactures and markets products ranging from basic petrochemicals to derivatives to more than 95 countries.
