Avure plans to expand its HPP (high pressure processing) capabilities across Mexico by hiring Edmundo Romo as business development manager for the region.

Romo previously worked for R.A. Jones, Multi-Color and Coesia and will represent Avure’s line of HPP machines, including the expandable AV-X.

Mexico is where the whole HPP food journey started, as a way to get fresh avocado and guacamole to wider markets, so I’m excited to share Avure’s technology,” he said.

We’re only seeing the tip of the iceberg on what HPP can do, as people seek out cleaner food labels with fewer additives.”

Avure HPP is available for juices and beverages, guacamole and salsa, ready-to-eat meals, fruits and vegetables, seafood and meat.
