Garon Products said its Mortarthane topping is designed to protect concrete floors in plants that require frequent high temperature washing or steam cleaning.

The topping is self-leveling, easily applied by roller and provides a tough, durable, floor topping.

"Repeated exposure to hot oil or steam does not cause pitting or cracking which makes this coating ideal for extreme heat and chemical environments," the company stated.

The company has designed the topping for food and chemical processing areas, bakeries, warehouses, cook and chill areas, and sanitize and wash areas.

It can also be used to cover areas where there is a risk of point impact damage, and places requiring slip resistance even when wet.

Mortarthane is packaged in premeasured components in a five-gallon unit. One five-gallon unit covers 32 sq. ft. at 3/16" deep, the company stated..
