Mepaco offers a range of high-capacity ergonomic lifts with sanitary design, making them suitable for food processing environments.
The lifts feature capacities ranging from 2,500 lbs to 4,000 lbs. Because food processing companies are looking for higher levels of hygiene across their operation, the company reports, lift firms must offer a larger selection of sanitary-design lifts.
According to Tom Hoffmann, director of sales and international markets for Wisconsin-based Mepaco, smaller sanitary lift tables exist, but none marry hygienic design with high load capacity as these models do.
“Our market research shows that Mepaco has no competitive lift products with this level of sanitary design," he said.
Varying lift capacities
The EZL4000 product/pallet lift is constructed of stainless steel, with a pickle-passivated finish. Features include 4,000-lb capacity, ability to lift to up to 36 in and a self-contained power unit.
The EZL2500 lift, also made of stainless steel with pickle-passivated finish, is height adjustable to 37 in., a low-profile deck for floor-level loading, and hydraulic power unit with up-down foot pedal control.
The lifts, according to the manufacturer, are constructed to meet or exceed US Department of Agriculture (USDA) standards and are suitable for applications demanding high levels of sanitation. The EZL4000 and EZL2500 are standard; portable, rotary-top and custom-built lifts also are available.
