Marel debuts salmon PortionCutter
Marel has developed the I-Cut 130 PortionCutter for portioning salmon into fixed-weight and fixed-length portions.
The technology allows salmon processors to produce products in four different cutting angles for example and numerous cutting patterns.
The machine also features a built-in TrimSort and trim take-away system for sorting products on a separate outfeed.
Marel manufactures equipment, systems and services to the fish, meat and poultry industries. Its brands are Marel, Stork Poultry Processing and Townsend Further Processing.
