Trojan Litho, Paperboard Packaging Council
Washington firm Trojan Litho has joined the Paperboard Packaging Council (PPC).

The company makes folding carton, single-face laminate and retail-ready packaging for the food and beverage industry.

It also manufactures point of purchase displays, including the Lama instant foldable display.

Trojan Litho told FoodProductionDaily.com that it applied to become a member of PCC because it wanted to connect with the packaging converting community and attend trade shows for networking and training benefits.

Ben Markens, PPC President, said: “I’m thrilled to welcome Trojan Litho aboard. As the newest addition to the PPC community, they will have access to the educational, marketing, and networking programs that have been helping our members achieve business goals for decades.”

In March Arbor Investments, a Chicago private equity firm that focuses on acquiring companies in the food, beverage and packaging industries, announced the acquisition of Trojan Litho.

With 130 members and in its 85th year, the PPC provides its members with folding carton data, benchmarking, networking opportunities, advocacy and industry promotion, webinars, meetings and an annual carton competition.

This year they will hold two folding carton boot camps, where industry experts will discuss how paperboard is made, how cartons are converted and how they are used by customers and consumers.
