Dr Nemzer, a AACC member for two years, will help organize inter-laboratory collaborative study of bioactive compounds in grains and review methods for approval.
In his job as director of product development and quality assurance at FutureCeuticals he has been involved in bringing on board new analytical methods.
The AACC said that Dr Nemzer’s involvement in the functional food industry is important because it aims to draw members from a broad range of academic, government and industry backgrounds.
