Sedish probiotics specialist, BioGaia, has enlisted Danish firm, Pharma Nord, to sell its own-branded probiotic tablets and drops in Denmark.
BioGaia has no presence in Denmark and it is expected its products will be on shelves before the middle of next year.
Pharma Nord’s large presence in Denmark and food supplement experience made them an ideal partner, BioGaia said.
"Denmark is the only country in Scandinavia where we do not yet sell products and we now look forward to a successful launch built on our strong clinical data," said BioGaia president, Peter Rothschild.
