Lab M is expanding its Captivate range of testing products to with the addition of E. coli tests.
The UK-based company is announcing the expanded line of immunomagnetic separation tests at Lab Innovations , November 6-7 in Birmingham. The added tests for shiga toxin-producing E. coli (STEC) strains will launch early next year.
According to the manufacturer, current products cover most of the requirements in pending European regulation. With the added tests, the Captivate lines reportedly will meet all the testing requirements for meat products in the US.
