CMB Engineering has expanded its Academy with the installation of the 3400 Die Necker multistage die necking machine.

This is the third step in the evolution of the company’s Academy as it continues to build on existing practical and theoretical training for its range of canmaking machines, including the CMB5000 Bodymaker and the CMB550 Trimmer (CMB 5500 Canmaker).

Investing in the Academy is investing in the future. We’ve had excellent feedback from industry professionals and want to continue to grow the Academy to support our full machinery line up,” said Andrew Truelove, general manager, CMB Engineering.

We are also eager to meet any specific customer requirements and as a result, we have produced a series of bespoke training packages for all of our canmaking equipment currently installed.”

With nearly 100 machines already operating in the industry, the 3400 Die Necker is well established in the market.

CMB Engineering, based in Shipley, UK, and designs, develops and manufactures canmaking equipment.
