FS/TEC 2002, the only event totally dedicated to technology applications for the foodservice industry, will be held on 27-30 October 2002 at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando.
More than 150 suppliers to the foodservice/hospitality industries will exhibit at the Seventh Annual International Foodservice Technology Exposition, including Founding Sponsors, IBM, MICROS Systems and Microsoft.
The theme of this year's show is "Get Connected," and the wide-ranging educational programme will feature sessions on four tracks: Financial Management/HR/Marketing, Operational, Technical and Case Study. The future of technology, including emerging applications, will be the focus of two panel discussions from different perspectives - a Vice Presidents' Panel of foodservice operators and an Executives' Panel of leading suppliers.
A special highlight is a back-of-the-house technology tour of the new Gaylord Palms Resort.
FS/TEC Technology Awards will be presented for Distinguished Achievement in foodservice technology. Team and Project Excellence Awards will honour companies for outstanding technology implementation.
FS/TEC 2002 is managed and produced by Nation's Restaurant News, the newsweekly of the foodservice industry, with Robert Grimes, chairman of Accuvia. For further information, visit the website and click on FS/TEC.
