Sustainable Energy Ireland (SEI) is driving awareness of its free energy assessment service with a range of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) including food and beverage manufacturers.
SEI said participating firms are matched with an expert energy advisor who discusses their particular requirements and recommends the best way to reduce their energy costs.
The public agency said that Irish SMEs collectively could generate savings of approximately €200m by using the scheme to improve energy efficiency.
