O-I expands alliance with Emhart Glass
O-I has expanded its strategic alliance with Emhart Glass to supply glass forming machines and parts to all their plants from Q2 this year.
O-I currently uses Emhart Glass glass forming equipment in about 60 of its 400 production lines worldwide.
Emhart Glass will supply machines, equipment and components used in the glass container forming process, and related spare parts for O-I’s sites, under the agreement.
The firm, which has headquarters in Zug, Switzerland, is a division of Bucher Industries and a supplier of glass container forming equipment.
