ConveyorTec, the conveying division of US company Wire Belt, has launched its new Series 380 Flex-Turn unit at the Anuga FoodTec show this week.

The 380 series features a 800mm inside radius small pitch belt, ideal for handling small or delicate products across the full width of the belt. The pitch is 6.5mm at the inside radius and up to 10.5mm at the outside radius with a wire diameter of 1.6mm.

The hygienically designed unit features an open, easy to clean design using stainless steel and polyethylene components. It will be initially available in belt widths of 400, 600, 900 and 1000mm.

The new unit is on show in hall 13.1 on stand G 011 until 11 April.

Last month parent company Wire Belt officially relaunched its conveyor division under the name of ConveyorTec for purposes of worldwide branding. The product range of Flex-Turn units, spreaders and convergers, product shuttles and straight conveyors - many of which will be demonstrated at AnugaTec - will now be sold alongside that name on an international basis.

The ConveyorTec name has been used for a number of years, principally in Germany to position the product range in the conveying and processing market. The revised logo, which incorporates the group logo to depict its status as the member of the Wire Belt family, will also be on show for the first time at Anuga FoodTec .
