Produce Safety And Security International said its Spherequat 6400 Biocidal Quaternary is designed to clean heavily soiled bio waste from meat and poultry processing equipment and hard, non-porous surfaces. Before plants can sanitize equipment and surfaces workers must first clean the equipment and surfaces of all bio waste.
Produce Safety's Spherequat1000 industrial disinfectant-sanitizer can then be used afterwards for sanitization.
"This cost-cutting process would eliminate the necessity to super heat wash water and greatly reduce the use of soaps and in mandatory cleaning procedures," the company stated. The product will be ready for shipment by the end of May.
The company has distribution centers in Houston, Texas, Prescott, Arizona, Florence, Kentucky and Markham in Ontario, Canada.
