Coke Cola targets 100% plant-based bottle

As commendable as this action will be, green foot-print etc --- I cannot help feeling a bit "cheated"; in that, a non-essential item like Coke Cola is going to use up valuable food resources (biomass)for its bottles. I wonder what the starving people in the Third World feel about it. I must add that in this case it happens to be Coke Cola - my same comment will apply to all such endeavours - Is our thinking not a bit skewed? Will food prices rise even further if everyone jumps on this bandwagon?
