Nestle Opposes GMO Labeling

"We have a simple way of looking at GM ingredients: listen to what the consumer wants. If they don't want it in products, you don't put it in them."
IF this were true, why did Nestle donate $1.16m to oppose Prop 37 in California?? I will not support Nestle, or any other donator, who opposes GMO labeling!
