- Corporate Description - Cryovac, the Food Packaging Division of Sealed Air, is a world leading innovator in flexible and rigid packaging materials, systems and services for numerous food and medical applications.
- Food Markets -Materials - Shrink films and bags; non-shrink hybrid and coextruded structures; cook-in and heat-treatable bags and casings; pouches for hot and cold pumpable foods; rigid containers for foodservice; barrier and non-barrier, rigid or foam trays; absorbent food pads.
Equipment - Wide range of high performance machines, including vacuum packaging and MAP lines, HFFS/VFFS equipment, vacuum skin packaging and tray-lidding systems. - Other Specialty Markets - Sealed Air Cryovac also engineers specialized packaging materials for medical and pharmaceutical applications, such as films for flexible pharmaceutical bags, film for ostomy pouches, as well as rigid packaging to protect medical devices. To expand its presence in medical device packaging, Sealed Air acquired Nelipak, a rigid packaging manufacturer based in the Netherlands, in early 2006.
