Ipack-Ima 2009
From March 24th to 28th 2009 the reference exhibition for the packaging and agro-food processing industry on stage at Fiera Milano will be the centre of the international focus for both the products and technology on display and for the quality of the events the exhibition will be hosting.
The exhibitors taking part in IPACK-IMA are the most stable and competitive suppliers of material, machinery, equipment and solutions for both the food and non-food industries. In some areas, such as Grain-Based Food, IPACK-IMA is the world's leading exhibition.
The 2009 edition solidifies IPACK-IMA as a leading exhibition in showcasing some particularly dynamic business areas such as the technology for the beverage industry (juices, milk, softdrinks and mineral water), featured in the Bevertech area, and the technology for identifying, tracking and managing packaged products, featured in the Labeltrack area. The growing importance of suppliers of packaging material (paper, plastics, bioplastics, anticorrosive metal, fresh and foodservice trays) is also of considerably importance at IPACK-IMA.
IPACK-IMA 2009 will be officially supported by the Italian Government through the Agricultural Policies Ministry and the Economic Development Ministry. The support by the two Ministries, has been vital to the staging, during the show, of the international conference "More Technology, Safety and Quality, less Hunger”, supported by the United Nations through FAO, UNIDO ITPO Italy and WFP.
