Mobile dispenser can be used on multiple production lines

A mobile dispenser used for inserting pouches of desiccant, silica gel and oxygen absorbers into packets of food can be used on multiple production lines.

The mobility of Abox Automation's PD-1 Pouch Dispenser means food companies can save on the cost of equipment by using the same machine on a number of production lines.

The PD-1 is used for food packing lines or in the pharmaceutical industry. It comes with a handheld touch screen remote controller with a Spanish and

 

English directory.

 

An auto-feed function allows a new roll of material to home itself to the knife's edge, minimising down time. A registration sensor finds and cuts at the sealed area of a pouch, avoiding troubling miss-cuts.

 

Other options include a remote enclosed unwind stand, Allen-Bradley controls, a pneumatic gating system and timing screws.

 

"The small size of the PD-1 makes it perfect to fit any packaging line," Abox Automation stated. "Coupled with our mobile stand, the PD-1 can be transferred to any number of lines in your facility leaving the smallest possible footprint. The ease-of-use operation of the PD-1 allows for even the most unskilled laborer to operate the machine flawlessly."

 

Oxygen absorbers are used to extend the shelf life of food products.
