Healthy Ones Deli, a Smithfield Foods brand, has revamped packaging for its line of meats to entice consumers with brighter packaging, easy-to-read messaging and new product varieties.
The updated Healthy Ones Deli packaging includes a cleaned-up design, and a focus on on-pack messaging that draws attention to fresh ingredients. The wrapping on the line of bulk meats also puts key nutritional information to the front, so that deli shoppers can easily read the information and make healthful choices.
The updated packaging and expanded product line hit deli cases this month. Flavor varieties include three types of turkey breast: Mediterranean Style, Tuscan Roasted, and Cracked Black Pepper.
“One of the most impactful updates we have made is to our packaging graphics by making our products easier for consumers to shop at the deli counter,” said Elizabeth Di John, brand manager for Healthy Ones. "We have updated the logo, brought forth bright, fresh colors and have clearly listed all important product attributes such as gluten free, lower sodium and no fillers, all to reflect the fresh and better-for-you nature of our deli meats.”
