Nestle France is to sell two food plants in France, according to union representation for the facilities.

The company has confirmed that it willannounce the buyers at a works council meeting to be held on 17 October, the FO union has stated.Nestle declined to comment on the claims and was unable to confirm thedate of the meeting, but admitted it has invited representatives from bothplants.

FO said Nestle will sell the Buitoni prepared dishes factory in Camaret,southern France and the Chef du Pont dairy products and desserts unit inNorthern France, which employ a total of 436 workers.
